Extra virgin olive oil Maribel Alonso selection
From the lands of Jaén we present this top quality oil made in a traditional way exclusively with mechanical procedures. It has an acidity of 0.13 and a fruity of 5.6 which gives it that exceptional quality. This oil is made in the Almadraba of Marmolejo, Jaen. It began its journey as a Cooperative, with the same name, in the 70s, when a few olive growers decided to join together to highlight their Product: Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
This journey began in the facilities of the “Santa María” Oil Mill, Current Museum of Contemporary Art Mayte Spínola, in Marmolejo. An oil mill from the beginning of the 20th century.
These facilities soon became too small and it was decided to build a new and more modern oil mill in the mid-1980s.
It is currently marketed under the Olivo Viejo brand. You can buy this oil in 0.5 liter bottles with a measuring cap.
