This cheese is made from raw cow's milk mixed with walnuts and hazelnuts in the village of Vega de Llan (Taramundi). Smooth taste and original, highly recommended for dessert.The bark is natural, has a very special taste by its buttery texture, and its flavor is a little acid with the presence of roasted flavors. It is the only cheese from Spain and practically in the world containing nuts.
It is served in parts of 550 - 600 grs.

This cheese has traditionally been manufactured in the houses and farms of Taramundi. Taramundi is a municipality of the autonomous community of the Principality of Asturias, in Spain, a parish of the Council and a villa belonging to this parish. The village of Taramundi is the capital of the council. It is one of the municipalities in which the eonavian (or eonaviego) is spoken.
It is used for melting and gratinating. Consumed with cider and white wines and Ribeiros. The variety of dried fruits is consumed as a dessert, with a sweet wine and spirituous Denso that is also used in salads.
