Cheese made with raw cow's milk in Tielve, parish of the Asturian Council of Cabrales. A population located within the Natural Park of the Picos de Europa. After its elaboration its afinateur Pepe Bada takes it to the cave of El Teyedu at more than 1200 meters high where these mythical cheeses are maturing in a high humidity environment for months. The result is a nice cabrales cheese with hints of nuts, creamy, with a characteristic, balanced and intense flavor.
In the last auction of Cabrales cheese this Cabrales managed to be the most expensive cheese in the world reaching 20,500 euros.
