Strips to measure the PH in liquids

These PH strips will provide you, very quickly, a reference indication of the pH of the liquid in which you submerge them. They are useful for approximate measurements, not for measurements where much precision is needed. They contain 80 strips and a color reference guide. The scale of PH ranges from 1 to 14.

In general terms, PH values can be classified in the following PH scale:

     0 - 6 Acidic substances. For example lemon juice has a PH of 2, beer a PH 4 and milk a PH 6.
     7 Neutral, such as water
     8 - 14 Alkalines such as ammonia with a PH 12 or lye with a PH 13.
