It is used in the preparation of cheeses to protect those that are destined to mature. It gives an aesthetic finish that recalls traditional treatments with oil. This finish provides an attractive and hygienic appearance as it offers a barrier against external contaminants. It retains the aroma and flavor of the cheese without penetrating its interior and forming a superficial layer that regulates the drying.

It is a product of viscous consistency of brown color formed by the plastic component and vegetable oils. It is highly cohesive and after drying, once applied to the rind of the cheese, it has a bright brownish color. You can buy this coating for cheese in 250 ml.

Hola Adolfo, tiene que secar primero la corteza. Luego antes de ponerlo a madurar es cuando hay que pintar el queso. Un saludo.

      cuando pintar el queso??

      He comprado la pintura para queso, pero no tengo claro cuando pintar el queso...nada mas sacarlo de la prensa o hay que dejar que e seque un poco. Muhas gracias
