Cured goat cheese made with pasteurized milk and matured between 45 and 2 months with paprika from La Vera. With a reddish rind due to rubbing with the Paprika de la Vera, its interior is off-white. The cut is closed and with small eyes that are not very abundant. Its texture is elastic and compact. Its flavor is smooth with a slight goat touch in the aftertaste and very pleasant on the palate. The aroma is of goat cheese and paprika.
This cheese has been awarded in the 2018-2019 edition of the World Cheese Awards with the silver medal in its category. Prize that joins the multiple it treasures as the first prize at the Trujillo Fair in 2010.
You can buy this cheese in half cheeses of approximately 400 grams vacuum packed.
